Out of all my Betsey Johnson, it's hard to pick a favorite piece. This studded cardigan is in the running though. It was a runway piece that I was totally obsessed with until it arrived in the store.

Perhaps it's my love of punk rock that leads to my love of studded things, but I obviously can't get enough of it. I also can't get enough of themed outfits, so I paired my new studded bow booties and bracelets with the cardigan.

I had wanted a pair of high waist shorts or jeans for awhile, but every pair I tried on looked terrible. Miss Sixty, Diesel, you name it-I looked like a fat midget. I loved how they looked on everyone else but I gave up hope. I happened upon these shorts for $5 at Forever 21. They didn't fit well, but I figured I'd try them out, and if I wore them enough and fell in love with the style, I'd go back on my search. I only wear them three times each summer, so the experiment of needing to invest in a good pair fell flat.

I could go on and on about how much I love these booties, but I need to wait until I learn how to walk in them first. I remember when I first got my fur Jeffrey Campbell wedges and I fell about 3 times the first night. Now they're one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own and I could run a mile in them. These Betsey Johnsons need a training session, a sober one, until I can adjust to them.

It is finally consistently gorgeous outside!! It is quite unfortunate that I work 6 1/2 days a week, but luckily Portland stays light until 8:30pm. I have been looking forward to a park and picnic day for awhile, partly because I have such a large picnic wardrobe.

I went a little over the top dressy, but I've been waiting for a reason to wear this matching necklace/earring/bracelet set that go perfectly with my silver boy Pollys.

My one issue with this dress is that the empire waist is in almost-the-wrong spot, leaving me with a very pregnant look. To make up for that, the neckline is very flattering and does a lot for the chest. These pictures don't do the colors justice. The hot pink really pops on the purple background with chiffon overlay skirt.

Justin and I headed to Laurelhurst and enjoyed a Pyramid Apricot Ale and playing with his pup. I can't wait to do it again-next time with picnic food!

You know when you love a piece of clothing so much that you have to stop yourself from wearing it everyday? The skull romper is that piece for me. Luckily I can change it up so many different ways!

I decided to go western theme today with an accent color of red. Boots, belt and bolero!

Threw on some vintage earrings and I felt easy, breezy and comfortable all day. I'll probably wear it again next week.

I'm usually excited for Fridays more than any other day because I get to wear something ridiculous, but I looked through my closet and couldn't find anything too out of the ordinary. What's the fun in that? Then I remembered I had scooped up a mormon-esque maxi dress a month ago when I went shopping at Vintage by the Pound.

Something about the lace and turquoise flower plattern drew me to the dress. Perhaps it's the shoulder area that reminds me of Easter dresses my Mother used to make.

I fully believe that long blonde hair matches long, pastel colored dresses better than short brown hair, but it turns out that my blonde wig looked even worse than my actual hair today!
The dress seems a bit matronly, but the length and cut actually compliment my body. Call me Wilt Chamberlain. At Patti Smith West, my Friday shop, a local artist brought in adorable miniature rings she hand makes. I thought this teacup matched perfectly.

I like shiny, sparkly things. Whenever I'm thrifting, I always run right to the part of the rack where sequins and shiny beads are sticking out. They usually turn out to be the ugliest things in the store, but they still get my attention. One of my first pairs of True Religion jeans was a straight leg, big stitch style with Swarovski crystals as the buttons and accents. Unfortunately, the seamstress hemmed them way too short and I haven't worn them for quite awhile because they only match heels or flip flops. I sewed them into skinny jeans and realized they go fantastic with my diamond Pollys! Threw on a motorcycle coat and voila

I came across a picture of few years ago with chains around the shoulder of a motorcycle coat. It was so cute! Turns out it's really easy to do-just throw a chunky chain necklace under the shoulder snap and it looks awesome.

A few of my favorite things: lipstick, diamonds, champagne and rock & roll. Good thinig they're a few of Betsey Johnson's favorite things too!

The back of the shirt can unzip and you can wear it off the shoulder.

All my diamonds and shiny things are together! Crystalized jeans, diamond rings and sparkly shoes and bag

I need to get into the whole awesome nail art thing soon.
