Pittsburgh Events: March 1-7

What it do...what it do. We're starting to see grass! Hopefully that means warm, fun times ahead. Pittsburgh's starting to be dreary. Let's hope snow doesn't keep us in again this weekend! Last year it was 73 degrees the first weekend in March. Maybe it will be a repeat....

Last week's edition of Diamonds was good and chill, and New Amsterdam has this amazing beer that tastes like Banana Bread. Yinz should try it 'n at. I got word that Voice in the Wire played an amazing show on Saturday. Awesome!! And the dead celebrity party on Saturday night was a blast. Check out the pics.

For you vegan and vegetarians, there is a going to be a tofu and seitan wing eating contest Thursdays in March. If you win a round the first three Thursdays, you will compete in the final round on March 25th. Yinz can win a $100 Whole Foods gift card!

Regular stuff going down this week: trivia at Jaggerbush tuesday, rock n roll bingo at Tiki Lounge, Taco Tuesday at Lava Lounge. Wednesday is pub trivia at Brillobox, punk rock jukebox at Tiki Lounge, 99 cent Coronas at 1311, and White Trashed Wednesdays at Double Wide Grill. Thursday is 80s night at Belvederes and Friday is 80s night at Lava Lounge and the Unblurred gallery crawl on Penn Ave. Saturday is EGAL at Remedy, now onto the rest...
